One of the greatest inventions of man is the smartphone, and the purpose is ease of humans, over all other benefits it provides.
Recently I switched phones and one thing that I had grown used to was a notification light on my previous phone, it was useful to see if the phone was charging or not simply by a glance, and for a text message or a notification, it blinked a color.
Since my new phone has a notch, I did some digging into XDA forums and YouTube videos and found this application
This app is available on the Google Play Store as well as XDA forums, the purpose is to use the notch to get a notification light. As far as compatibility goes, my phone has Android 10 however it will definitely work on almost all phones above Android 5.0 or Lollipop.
The solution to some problems you may face are written below, you can also watch the YouTube video I made demonstrating the application and how to set it up and fix it, this app is a tad bit complicated so watching the video will definitely help you!
A COMMONLY FACED PROBLEM
The app closes and the light doesn’t show up
SOLUTION
Try disabling the power consumption in the info of the app in the settings. Or try to lock the application in the multitasking window. Below attached are the Gifs. \
